New book deal!

I have happy-making news to share!

From Publishers Marketplace:
K.A. Harrington's FORGET ME, set in a dying town full of abandoned places, in which a 17-year-old uploads a photo of her dead boyfriend to a social media site and the facial recognition software tags him with someone else's name: a boy who lives two towns away and looks just like him, but is very much alive, to Shauna Rossano at Penguin Children's, by Scott Miller at Trident Media Group.

FORGET ME is a contemporary YA thriller, no supernatural elements, and it's a standalone. The book will be published under the name K.A. Harrington to differentiate it from the paranormal thrillers I write for Scholastic. And I AM SO EXCITED. It will be a 2014 release. We’re already in the editing stages, and I love this book so much. It's a setting I've always wanted to play with, and there are so many twists and turns. But I don’t want to tell you too much too soon. So I’ll just leave you with a few relevant images.

That'll have to do for now. More later!
